A new edition of PA/PER VIEW art book fair, co-hosted by MOUSSE (Milan) and MER. Paper Kunsthalle(Gent), will take place in the theatre foyers of the Carignano and Cavallerizza Reale theatres on 6-8 November in Turin, bringing together more than 25 of the globe’s leading artist book publishers, during Italy’s most intense contemporary art weekend.

This convergence of exciting initiatives will happen during Turin´s busiest contemporary art week, at the time of Artissima 16, the international contemporary art fair. As part of Artissima´s activities, an outstanding international performance programme, Accecare l’ascolto / Aveugler l’écoute / Blinding the ears, will take place in several theatres in the city centre and PA/PER VIEW has been invited to occupy the foyers of these strategically situated theatres.

The prestige and track record in the art publishing world of the publishers participating will continue to give this book fair its desired standard.

Wir sind ein charismatisches Kollektiv neugieriger Individuen, welches mit kleinen Provokationen verpackt in großen kreativen Ergüssen die Welt ein Stück verbessern möchte, sich dabei aber nicht zu ernst nimmt. Der Name entstand 2003 im Zuge des “Nienburg-zerstört” Skateboardfilmes, um unserer Gruppendynamik einen Namen zu geben. Seitdem wurden einige weitere Narren durch das Bestehen waghalsiger Mutproben & Charakterprüfungen in die sympathische Sippschaft aufgenommen.
Die Namen der aktuellen Mitgliederliste lesen sich wie ein 7-stelliger Betrag auf der Habenseite und zergehen nur so auf der Zunge: Tim Rokahr, Alex Kramer, Jan Böckmann, Paco Elles, Tjark Thielker, Carsten Beneker, Christiano da Ros, Kristian Barthen, Moritz Zeller, Daniel May, Max Pochadt, Max Beckmann und Lennie Burmeister.
